Job summary
Hendrickson is seeking a Field Tech Specialist to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade and tune automation and controls systems in manufacturing environments. You will lead automation projects, program PLCs and robots, design electrical panels, and provide on-site commissioning and technical support.
Travel and mentoring of maintenance and operations staff are required. Requirements include a 10+ year manufacturing background, Rockwell software proficiency, Fanuc robot experience, and degrees
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent years of experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, Mechanical or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of manufacturing experience in automated environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation and controls projects from concept through implementation.
- PLC, Robot, and HMI programming and troubleshooting.
- Electrical panel and controls design and documentation.
- Provide on-site testing, commissioning, and technical support.
- Mentor maintenance and operations personnel in automation best practices.
