ASI is seeking a Mechanical Fabricator and Technician to support a multidisciplinary team in building custom automated and robotic systems. You will fabricate, paint, assemble, troubleshoot, install and support automation systems.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in mechanical fabrication, MIG/TIG welding, and reading mechanical drawings, with strong attention to detail and safety compliance. This is a full-time role in a manufacturing/automation environment.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in Welding, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance or related technical field preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and industrial machinery.
• Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience MIG and TIG welding of mild steel and stainless steel to specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tools, fasteners, and fabrication practices.
• Basic understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical power transmission.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Fabricate, weld, assemble, and paint parts and assemblies to specifications.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and prints for accurate assembly.
• Use hand and power tools, precision measuring equipment to build complex systems.
• Modify parts with manual machining equipment as needed.
• Install and align mechanical systems at in-house or customer sites.
• Support prototype builds and participate in testing and documentation.
