Job summary

Tridak, part of the Bachmann Chemical & Engineering family, seeks an Equipment Technician in Torrington, CT. You will provide technical support for Production and Engineering, performing assembly, programming, analysis, data generation, and support across dispensing, filling, and specialized equipment for customers.

You will build subassemblies, run tests with diverse instrumentation, create user guides, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with Production and Engineering teams

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in equipment assembly, programming, maintenance, inspection, and/or quality control.
• BS/technical education or trade experience preferred.
• Ability to read and create technical diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Some exposure to UV light, adhesives and chemicals.
• Detail orientation with strong time-management and analytical skills.
• Experience in robotics and automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support new and existing products and technologies with testing and assembly of dispensing and automation equipment.
• Evaluate and assist in configuring fluid handling and robotics equipment for performance analysis.
• Perform analytical tests using instrumentation and coordinate external testing to meet deadlines.
• Build subassemblies and finished units following or creating work instructions, and document as needed.
• Report progress and findings within set timeframes and communicate setbacks or delays.
• Maintain inventory and logistics transactions using GlobalShop ERP and coordinate with team members.
