Job summary

BD in Connecticut is hiring a Full-Time Electronics/Electrical Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair production equipment on the plant floor. You will read schematics, handle PLCs, robotic systems, vision systems and labeling equipment, and support preventive maintenance.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma with related experience or certification, or an associate degree in electronics, and a minimum of six months experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1 year relevant experience or equivalent.
• Diploma/certification or vocational training with related background.
• Associate degree in electronics plus minimum experience.
• Six months minimum experience regardless of education path.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs production equipment for electrical and controls issues.
• Performs daily repair of material movement vehicles and the related track.
• Supports PM activities on production machinery.
• Troubleshoots PLC, robotics, vision, and labeling systems on the line.
• Documents work performed in logs with timely detail.
