Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our on-site manufacturing team in the United States. You will troubleshoot and maintain automated production equipment, respond to line failures, and partner with Process and Controls Engineering to improve uptime and reliability.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a similar environment and a college/bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• College/bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• One year or more of experience in a similar work environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to automation line failures, alarms, and downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensor, and automation issues.
• Identify root causes using systematic troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform preventive and general maintenance on automated production equipment.
• Monitor recurring failures and improve equipment reliability.
• Document downtime data and maintenance records.
• Escalate complex issues to Process/Controls IT or vendors.
• Support automation projects and equipment improvements.
• Receive and respond to JIRA tickets related to automation and manufacturing support.
• Identify tools and parts needed to support production.
• Assist with upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
• Work with vendors to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Provide training on operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Support testing and validation after repairs or upgrades.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to maintain uptime.
