Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks a hands-on maintenance professional to respond to automation line failures, troubleshoot equipment, and improve reliability on automated production lines. The role requires at least 1 year in a similar environment and a college degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Skilled in debugging and root cause analysis.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).
• Physical ability to work on and around industrial equipment, including occasional lifting to 50lbs.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems.
• Effective in time management and delegation.
• Experience with Automation (Preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Respond to automation line failures, equipment alarms, and production downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensor, controls, and automation-related issues.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures using systematic troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform preventive and general maintenance on automated production equipment.
• Monitor recurring equipment failures and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability.
• Collect, document, and report equipment failure and downtime data.
• Maintain equipment maintenance records, troubleshooting logs, and asset records.
• Escalate complex equipment issues to Process Engineering, Controls Engineering, IT, or equipment vendors.
• Support Process Engineering with automation projects, equipment improvements, and special projects.
• Receive and respond to JIRA tickets related to automation, equipment, and manufacturing support.
• Work with Manufacturing and Engineering to identify tools and equipment needed to support production.
• Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
• Work with equipment vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Identify and order replacement parts, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Provide equipment operation and basic troubleshooting training to production personnel.
• Support equipment testing and validation following repairs, modifications, or upgrades.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to maintain automation line uptime and production efficiency.
