Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Design Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of related work experience in Machine Design.
• Experience designing custom automation equipment and intricate mechanism design.
• Hands-on experience is beneficial.
• Proficiency with AutoCad/SolidWorks and general drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops complex equipment through to implementation and validation.
• Organizes and directs equipment launches and enhancements.
• Maintains quality work produced by the department; influences team members to improve practices.
• Analyzes cost and benefits of solutions and provides recommendations.
• Produces drawings and data sheets to ensure design criteria compliance.
• Prepares project documentation and reports communicating progress.
• Ensures completion of project phases within budget and schedule.
• Coordinates large and small projects through installation and repairs.
• Defines process sequences and targets for automated lines and workflows.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external automation teams.
