Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Controls Engineering, Robotics/Mechatronics Engineering or related engineering degree.
• Completed sophomore year of undergraduate course work and enrolled in junior classes for Fall.
• Completed coursework in mechanical design, dynamics, electrical engineering, and data analysis.
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and operations to identify and evaluate automation projects.
• Define problems and brainstorm potential solutions.
• Create high-level conceptual designs to improve the focus area.
• Document safety risk assessments with EHS.
• Identify and qualify vendors, obtain quotes.
• Develop a high-level business case with costs and benefits.
• Provide project status updates as needed.
• Travel to plants and vendors if required.
