Job summary

Johns Manville in Richmond, IN is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our team. You will work side by side with engineering professionals and plant leadership by participating in hands on activities such as sampling, analysis as well as be responsible for documentation and various plant initiatives.

This paid internship offers exposure to product development and technical service initiatives while pursuing a B.S. in engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. degree in engineering and completing freshman year.
• Active enrollment in an engineering major with plan to complete degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services for less complex problems and recommend actions.
• Assist with more complex problems under supervision of senior engineers.
• Participate in product development project execution.
• Support Sr. Engineers on initiatives with sampling and analysis.
• Develop and maintain product/process documentation for consistency.
• Provide project status and laboratory reports as required.
