Job summary

Promega is offering an 8-month co-op opportunity in engineering, focusing on automation and process controls. Under supervision from an Automation Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience in development, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial automation systems.

Preferred candidates are pursuing a BS in Engineering with a foundation in electrical circuits, CAD tools, and problem-solving abilities. This co-op emphasizes safe work practices and inclusion within Promega’s ES I core

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing at least 1 year toward a BS in Engineering.
• Strong base in electrical circuits and problem solving; able to apply fundamentals.
• Familiar with CAD tools and basic design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, program, and implement control methods to improve operations and efficiency.
• Support commissioning and validation of automated processes and machine control systems.
• Investigate process automation opportunities and identify suitable equipment.
• Conceptualize and plan capital projects related to industrial automation and electrical distribution.
• Assist in design and maintenance of OT network and SCADA software.
• Foster safe work practices and comply with ethical and regulatory requirements.
