Job summary

Cindavi is seeking an Electrical Engineer to advance automation in our manufacturing operations. This hands-on role involves solving production-floor equipment challenges, programming controls, and bringing projects from concept to production launch.

You will work with maintenance, production, safety, quality, IT, and manufacturing engineering to improve reliability and connectivity of equipment, with an emphasis on practical, on-site execution and measurable results.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering for a hands-on automation engineering role.
Hands-on PLC programming capability, including modifying programs for manufacturing equipment.
Robotics or mechatronics experience gained through work, internship, coursework, or teams.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Self-starting, adaptable mindset with ability to learn new PLC platforms and own outcomes.

Responsibilities

Scope and execute automation projects, including robotic installations, conveyor improvements, equipment upgrades, and controls enhancements.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, drives, robotic systems, and related controls through commissioning to production.
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to diagnose recurring equipment issues and improve reliability.
Specify, install, test, and commission new equipment while maintaining electrical drawings and process documentation.
Connect production equipment with company data systems, maintain backups, and develop predictive monitoring tools.
Contribute hands-on on-site tasks, such as building control boxes when needed.
