Job summary

Voltava is seeking a Controls Engineer to maintain, develop, and improve automation control systems across our manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot complex control issues and optimize equipment performance in collaboration with production and maintenance teams, driving continuous improvement and reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with Allen Bradley Studio 5000 and Siemens Step 7, plus strong C++/C# and ladder logic skills, and the ability to read electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong programming and troubleshooting in industrial control systems.
• Experience with Allen Bradley (Studio 5000) and Siemens Step 7 PLCs.
• Knowledge of C++, C#, and ladder logic programming.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Advanced knowledge of electronic devices and automation systems.
• Experience with HMI systems and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
• Experience conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
