Job summary

STEMCO Products is seeking an Automation Engineer to enhance the production systems through PLC and robotic programming, along with equipment troubleshooting and repairs. The role emphasizes hands-on involvement to ensure operational reliability and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in programming and troubleshooting control systems, and will be responsible for developing training materials for maintenance staff. The position is located in Longview, Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of PLC experience, programming with Allen Bradley systems preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of Robotics experience, preferably with FANUC robots.
• Minimum of 5 years of Industrial Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting control circuits including PLC, motor controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Maintain, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Develop training materials and conduct hands-on training sessions of automated systems.
