Job summary

Goshen Engineering in North Carolina seeks Automation Engineers to design, develop, build, integrate, test, commission, and support automation and control solutions across electrical and mechanical disciplines.

The role covers PLC/HMI/SCADA/servo/VFD programming, safety systems, technical documentation, customer support, and project execution, with progression from hands-on work to project leadership as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or related field; experience may substitute.
• Experience with automation, controls, electrical engineering as per level.
• Ability to create electrical schematics and work with PLC/HMI/VFD/servo/robot systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical problems independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, build, integrate, test, commission, and support automation solutions.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, servo, and robot systems.
• Design safety control circuits and review electrical schematics.
• Perform system testing, startup, and customer site support as assigned.
• Lead projects as appropriate to level and maintain project records.
