Job summary

Astemo Rock Spring, Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer to advance automation projects and support continuous improvement across the manufacturing footprint in Rock Spring, GA.

The role collaborates closely with Engineering to design, develop, and implement automation solutions for new and existing equipment. The candidate will work on PLC logic across Omron, Allen-Bradley, and Mitsubishi platforms, design HMI applications, and assist with installations and documentation.

Qualifications

• PLC programming and control systems knowledge.
• HMI design and debugging experience.
• Data analysis and Excel proficiency.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation projects and improvements.
• Assist with installation and modification of equipment.
• Design wiring diagrams for new/existing equipment.
• Create PLC logic for Omron, Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi.
• Develop and document specifications and procedures.
• Train staff on technical systems and support.
