Job summary

鴻海精密工業股份有限公司 in Houston seeks a Senior SMT Engineering Lead to guide a team of engineers and technicians, resolve production issues, and drive predictive and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve quality.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement, apply Lean/Six Sigma, and analyze manufacturing data using Excel, Python, SQL, and BI tools to support decision-making and optimize OEE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or proven equivalent work experience).
• Engineering disciplines preferred: Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial, Automation, Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Resolve production issues as SME for SMT equipment.
• Lead preventative maintenance activities weekly (resources, supplies).
• Plan and execute cross-functional projects with TPMs; define requirements and timelines.
• Analyze bottlenecks and propose lean improvements (automation, reengineering).
• Allocate resources to meet production/project goals; manage team.
• Lead root-cause analyses (8D, FACA, FMEA) for defects and drive corrective actions.
• Evaluate new technologies for feasibility and impact with customer counterparts.
