Job summary

Beaulieu International Group seeks an Automation Engineer to own complex automation projects across the group. You will combine technical excellence with a hands-on approach to improve production assets, connectivity, and long-term value.

You will work across divisions, support sites worldwide, and contribute to operational excellence, safety, digitalization and the company’s sustainability goals, while ensuring compliance and driving efficiency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Automation, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years' experience in industrial automation and OT environments.
• Hands-on and own technical challenges from analysis to implementation.
• Working knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, E-Plan, industrial networks, safety standards, frequency converters, and drivetrains.
• Willingness to learn and expand expertise in safety, OT cybersecurity, automation, and data connectivity.
• English plus Dutch or French language skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex automation projects from concept to implementation, safeguarding scope, planning, and budget.
• Evaluate make-or-buy decisions and coordinate internal/external partners.
• Deliver upgrades, retrofits, machine integration, and new control systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, machine safety, cybersecurity, and group policies.
• Drive improvements to increase output, quality, and efficiency while reducing waste.
• Support data science initiatives through reliable data acquisition and ICT/MES integration.
