Job summary

ITG Brands is seeking an Automation Lead to drive reliability and efficiency across manufacturing and packaging systems. You will oversee design, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation platforms as the site SME, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, OHSE, Engineering, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience supporting industrial automation systems.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or project management experience.
• Experience with automated manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, servo motion control, VFDs, sensors, and networks.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Equipment Reliability Management and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation strategy and roadmap to improve reliability, efficiency, and productivity.
• Provide technical leadership for PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, servo controls, VFDs, sensors, instrumentation, and networks.
• Establish and maintain automation standards, programming practices, and documentation.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for control systems and automated equipment.
• Manage automation software backups, version control, and disaster recovery processes.
• Act as primary technical resource for automation troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Develop and deliver training and mentorship programs to Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering.
