Job summary
Repligen in Marlborough, MA is seeking an Automation Engineer II to support full lifecycle automation for bioprocessing equipment. You will develop and maintain PLC/HMI/SCADA applications, integrate with Rockwell/AB, Siemens, and DeltaV platforms, and collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Service teams.
The role emphasizes hands-on controls engineering, change-management, and training, with emphasis on cGMP environments and validated systems.
Qualifications
- BS degree in electrical/automation field; 5+ years in automation or controls.
- Hands-on PLC/HMI/SCADA programming and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with Rockwell AB; Siemens/DeltaV is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC/HMI/SCADA apps for automated equipment.
- Program Rockwell/AB, Siemens, and AutomationDirect PLC platforms.
- Develop and maintain HMI/SCADA with Wonderware, iFix, and C-more.
- Troubleshoot scripts, SQL queries, communications, and interfaces.
- Configure industrial networks and OPC UA/DA, Modbus, PROFINET, EtherCAT, DeltaV.
- Support design reviews, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and deployment of skids.
- Write and execute test scripts; enforce change-control and documentation.
- Provide automation expertise to internal teams and customers.
