Job summary

RepliGen Corporation is seeking a Service Automation Controls Engineer to support, troubleshoot, and improve automation solutions in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratory environments.

You will work with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, industrial networks, and process control platforms, collaborating with Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve issues and ensure compliant results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Controls, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline with 3-5+ years of relevant automation, controls, or service engineering experience.
• Experience supporting automation systems in biopharmaceutical, life sciences, laboratory, or regulated manufacturing environments; direct bioprocessing and process filtration experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of PLC programming, HMI/SCADA configuration, industrial controls, instrumentation, I/O systems, industrial networking, data acquisition, and automation troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for automation controls, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks.
• Program, configure, modify, and support automation platforms and related I/O systems.
• Develop and support HMI/SCADA applications (iFIX, Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC, TI Portal, C-more).
• Review, interpret, and reverse-engineer automation code, control logic, and system designs for service, repair, and qualification activities.
