Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Automation/Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in an injection molding environment.
- Ability to program and troubleshoot PLC controllers and HMIs.
- 2D/3D drawing in AutoCAD or SolidWorks for automated equipment design.
- Knowledge of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5-2018).
- Experience with pneumatic/electro-pneumatic control circuits and electrical control panels.
Responsibilities
- Develops, codes, and commissions automated systems including PLC, robotics, and motion control.
- Troubleshoots complex issues and reduces downtime in automated machinery.
- Manages automation projects from design to deployment with cross-functional teams.
- Coordinates with external vendors for design, procurement, and installation of new equipment.
