Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, test, and maintain robotics process and desktop automations. You will lead test planning, data strategies, and performance testing while collaborating with business and technology teams to ensure quality.

You will also document procedures, estimate tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across projects. This role requires onsite work at a U.S. Bank location with a focus on reliable, scalable automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Three to four years of relevant work experience with programming concepts.
• Experience in automation engineering, software testing or application development.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, .NET or similar languages; COBOL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and testing solutions for customer correspondence applications.
• Design, execute, and support functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Partner with business and technology teams to validate customer-facing communications and document templates.
• Create test plans, test cases, and test data strategies to ensure solution quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, automation, and testing-related issues.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of correspondence platforms and automation capabilities.
• Document testing processes, technical specifications, and operating procedures.
• Contribute to project planning, effort estimation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
