Job summary

BankPlus is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automation solutions supporting business processes. You will develop workflows, integrate internal systems with automation/AI platforms, and ensure deployments follow enterprise standards and security guidelines.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, testing, and deployment, with collaboration across departments and vendors, in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/Engineering/IS.
• 2-4 years in software development, systems engineering, or automation/RPA.
• Experience with automation or scripting languages and tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, RPA platforms).
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and data workflows.
• Basic understanding of enterprise architecture principles and security best practices.
• Demonstrated experience scoping and delivering automation or AI initiatives, ideally including vendor/partner-led engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy automation workflows and scripts to streamline business processes.
• Partner with department stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Build and maintain integrations between internal systems and automation/AI platforms.
• Test and validate automation solutions prior to deployment, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
• Monitor deployed automations for performance issues and troubleshoot as needed.
• Document automation processes, configurations, and technical specifications.
• Support technical implementation of approved use cases with automation/AI partners.
