Job summary
Scorpion Therapeutics in Clayton, NC seeks an Automation Engineer to manage and enhance process control systems across existing and new equipment. You will collaborate with stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to ensure alignment with local and global standards.
The role requires experience with manufacturing automation, plans coordination with production schedules, and governance of automation specifications and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university.
- Experience in process-based manufacturing/utility/packaging systems is a plus.
- Logistics roles: warehouse automation equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to ensure process control systems meet standards.
- Coordinate with manufacturing schedules to plan automation activities.
- Serve as automation resource on projects involving process control systems.
- Own self-development to understand site process control systems.
- Adhere to automation standards and update maintenance plans as needed.
- Support audits and inspections for process control systems.
