Job summary

Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking a Process Automation Engineer to join a cross-functional team focused on reliable operation and qualification of manufacturing lines. You will develop and implement process and automation improvements, ensure in-control processes, and support deviations and change controls in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 2+ years in GMP or similarly regulated settings, with strong safety

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
2+ years engineering experience in GMP or highly regulated environment.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical expert for assigned equipment, processes, controls, and design requirements.
Lead equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve issues.
Monitor equipment performance and process data to identify improvements.
Develop and implement equipment, automation, and process improvements.
Support deviations, change controls, and commissioning activities.
Maintain equipment in a qualified state with proper documentation and maintenance.
