Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking talented engineers to help automate manual workflows across AWS data centers. You will design software tools, collaborate with stakeholders, and maintain automated pipelines to ensure reliable, scalable production code.

This role focuses on applying best practices in coding and design, mentoring other engineers, and driving operational excellence within a global infrastructure team.

Qualifications

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 4+ years of building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments experience.

Responsibilities

• Design software tools using advanced automation methods such as Agentic AI.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand the opportunities to automate the manual work and streamline the process.
• Develop and maintain software pipelines using best practices for smooth production code release.
• Suggest and implement best practices for coding, design and operational excellence.
• Mentor engineers and develop them.
