Job summary

Serval is hiring an Automation Engineer to design and implement AI-driven automation across internal IT and operations. You will build scalable workflows, automate access provisioning, and optimize our automation stack to improve efficiency and security across the org.

You’ll work as part of an internal product-like team, owning end-to-end automation tasks from identity and access to recurring provisioning. A strong systems thinker with ownership mindset will thrive.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in automation engineering, IT operations, or a related role.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of identity management (Okta, SAML, SCIM), endpoint management (macOS, Kandji), and SaaS administration.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and tune AI agents that resolve common employee requests without human intervention.
• Build workflows for onboarding, offboarding, and access/software provisioning.
• Automate ticket triage, routing, and escalation.
• Maintain an accurate, agent-ready knowledge base.
• Track impact metrics: deflection rate, resolution time, hours saved, satisfaction.
