Job summary

Gotion Inc. is building a manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL to advance battery production.

As an Equipment Engineer, you will install, optimize, and maintain equipment for electrode manufacturing, coating, calendaring, and packaging in a fast‑paced, bilingual English/Chinese environment. You will collaborate with vendors and production teams, develop preventive maintenance, and drive automation upgrades to improve yield and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Hands-on experience with automated production equipment.
• Proven installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning, and validation of equipment used in electrode manufacturing and related processes.
• Ensure equipment meets specifications, safety standards, and process requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot during installation.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Perform RCA for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
