Job Description:

Apex is hiring an FMS Engineer! This is a FULLY REMOTE POSITION.

Must have AVEVA Wonderware experience.

Responsible for FMS Cyber Security patching, implementation, and support of AVEVA (Wonderware) System platform/SQL Server-based factory management and control systems (FMS) within CHEP’s plants.

Daily job duties:

1. System development and configuration in AVEVA (Wonderware) System Platform, InTouch, and MS SQL Server.
2. Collaborate with FMS and IT teams.
3. Analyze business problems, develop solutions, and implement technical and non-technical solutions.
4. Maintain positive relationships between business entities and engineering.
5. Propose and deliver systems that add value within time and budget constraints.
6. Enforce CHEP FMS standards with vendors for rapid implementations.
7. Provide plant support for FMS during various hours, including off-hours, weekends, and holidays.

Required Challenges:

• Work weekends during project patching/implementation cycles.
• Work across time zones and cultures, attending meetings outside normal hours.
• Provide remote FMS support 24x7 as needed.

Required Experience:

• At least 2 years of project experience with AVEVA Wonderware System Platform 2020.
• Proficiency with AVEVA/Wonderware troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with Hyper-V virtualization, including server migration, configuration, management, and maintenance.

Nice to Have Experience:

• Familiarity with Inductive Automation Ignition 8.1.
• Experience with SQL Server 2017, stored procedures, SQL Reporting Services, and .NET.
• Knowledge of Rockwell PLCs (SLC 500, Micrologix, Compactlogix, ControlLogix).

Knowledge and Skills:

• Network troubleshooting, including connectivity, performance, and communication reliability.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfort working on the plant floor in a start-up environment with challenging schedules.
• Project and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem analysis and solving skills.
