Job summary
Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opening for Electronic Repair Technicians to join us at our Middletown, Ohio operation. Electronic Repair Technicians ensure the reliability and performance of critical automation and control systems through expert troubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration.
Technicians will work rotating shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing environment and will be responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration of automation system
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
- Military training in electronics-related fields.
- Work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read, understand and follow blueprints, schematics, drawings, work instructions and procedure manuals.
Responsibilities
- Working rotating shift work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Responsible for preventive & reactive maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration of automation system equipment.
- Calibrate and maintain PLCs, AC & DC motor controls, relay logic, and instrumentation devices for pressure, temperature, flow, level, position, speed, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
