Job summary

Jobot is seeking a qualified Journeyman Maintenance Electrician in Canton, MA to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain highly automated production equipment, electrical systems, and PLC-controlled machinery across a modern manufacturing facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, install EMT and conduit, diagnose electrical circuits, and support motor controls and automation systems.

Massachusetts license required, 5+ years of industrial experience, and a strong safety culture are essential.

Qualifications

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production equipment and electrical systems.
Repair and diagnose PLC-controlled machinery and drives.
Run, thread, and bend EMT and Rigid conduit (½"–2"), including offsets and bends.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain highly automated production equipment, electrical systems, and PLC-controlled machinery throughout the facility.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency.
Install, run, thread, and bend EMT and Rigid conduit (½"–2"), including offsets, saddles, kicks, and 90-degree bends.
Diagnose and repair electrical circuits, motors, drives, control panels, and automation systems.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled production lines and identify root causes of equipment failures.
Support AC/DC motor controls, VFDs, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic controls using wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
Utilize diagnostic equipment, including voltmeters, ohmmeters, and megohmmeters, to troubleshoot issues.
