Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is hiring a Maintenance Electrician to install and maintain complex manufacturing electrical equipment at our Devens campus, with periodic work in Somerville, MA.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machining centers, process ovens, and other electro-mechanical systems, using a CMMS for tracking. A MA license is required, along with 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance and strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing maintenance.
• Minimum 7 years in installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and complex equipment.
• Ability to read/understand technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work independently and take direction from supervisors.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends/on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of CNC machines, process ovens and related manufacturing equipment.
• Provide maintenance support for equipment installation, relocation, or modification projects.
• Use CMMS to track maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities systems.
• Assist in developing maintenance procedures and schedules.
