Job summary

Launch is seeking a Reliability & Automation Maintenance Specialist to diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical faults on Allen‑Bradley PLC controlled systems in Columbia, MO. You will troubleshoot AC/DC faults, read schematics, and work with high voltage equipment to minimize downtime.

You’ll also repair pneumatics and hydraulics, operate machine tools, and weld as needed. Coaching newer technicians and supporting preventive maintenance are part of the role.

Qualifications

Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
Able to read electrical schematics and interpret PLCs.
Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs and high-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and meters.
Repair and install pneumatic and hydraulic components and pumps.
Operate machine tools for precision repairs and fabrication.
Interpret PLC logic on conveyor systems to diagnose issues.
Jump on maintenance calls and drive repairs to completion.
Coach entry-level mechanics and support preventive maintenance.
