Job summary
Ethos is seeking an Electrical Automation Mechanic to lead the maintenance and enhancement of our facility's electrical control systems. You will drive automation solutions from setup and programming to ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
You will decode schematics, resolve PLC and HMI issues, and collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure reliable, efficient operations and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in an accredited college or technical school and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience, required.
- Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell automation required.
- Programming experience is REQUIRED.
- RS Logix 5000 experience.
Responsibilities
- Decode complex electrical schematics and user manuals to troubleshoot and maintain cutting-edge equipment.
- Solve automation and robotics software issues to optimize processes.
- Tackle PLC and touchscreen issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Help with network troubleshooting and resolve control networking issues.
- Collaborate with IT to maintain servers and ensure smooth operations.
- Identify and drive automation improvements for faster, more reliable processes.
- Provide technical leadership and training to maintenance technicians.
