Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and support the production of high-quality titanium and nickel-based alloys. This role operates within a fast-paced plant environment and collaborates with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.

The position requires hands-on electrical and automation expertise, with emphasis on improving process reliability and safety on a 2-2-3 12-hour shift (6PM-6AM).

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance or related field.
• 1 year of industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience with PLCs, PC consoles, HMIs, variable drives, and power distribution equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced technical troubleshooting for Plant Equipment and coordinate maintenance, repair and installation work.
• Diagnose problems affecting operation of process equipment and machinery.
• Lead or participate in preventative and total productive maintenance activities and support optimization efforts.
