Job summary
Aerotek is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a highly automated automotive glass facility in Versailles, KY. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment with emphasis on electrical and mechanical systems.
You will work with 480V systems, PLC-controlled equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, presses, ovens, and robotics. This contract-to-hire onsite position offers opportunities to work with advanced automation and robotics.
Qualifications
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with 480V electrical systems.
- PLC-controlled equipment and ladder logic familiarity.
- Robotics experience with Fanuc/ABB is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical production equipment.
- Troubleshoot 480V, 277V, and 120V AC electrical systems.
- Test and troubleshoot 12V and 24V DC control circuits.
- Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems; work with motors and conveyors.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and ladder logic.
- Work with Fanuc and ABB robotic equipment.
- Complete preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.
- Read electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
