Aerotek is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a highly automated automotive glass facility in Versailles, KY. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment with emphasis on electrical and mechanical systems.

You will work with 480V systems, PLC-controlled equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, presses, ovens, and robotics. This contract-to-hire onsite position offers opportunities to work with advanced automation and robotics.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with 480V electrical systems.
• PLC-controlled equipment and ladder logic familiarity.
• Robotics experience with Fanuc/ABB is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical production equipment.

Job Description

We are looking for a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join a highly automated automotive glass manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment with a strong focus on electrical and mechanical systems.

Technicians will work with 480V electrical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, presses, ovens, and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical production equipment.
• Troubleshoot 480V, 277V, and 120V AC electrical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot 12V and 24V DC control circuits.
• Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Work with motors, conveyors, pumps, presses, ovens, sensors, and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and ladder logic.
• Work with Fanuc and ABB robotic equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Read electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
• Work with production and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including 480V.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to troubleshoot motors, controls, sensors, and automated equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• PLC and ladder logic troubleshooting experience is preferred.
• Fanuc or ABB robotics experience is a plus.
• Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
• MIG welding experience is a plus.
• Conduit bending experience is a plus.

This is a clean, well-lit, highly automated automotive glass manufacturing facility. Technicians work around robotics, conveyors, presses, ovens, motors, pumps, and other automated production equipment. The facility is not temperature controlled and can be hot throughout the year. Required PPE may include cut-resistant, long-sleeve protective clothing. Safety and equipment uptime are major priorities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of VERSAILLES, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
