Job summary

Piston Automotive in Louisville, KY, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to handle a wide range of general building and equipment maintenance for Production. Responsibilities include preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance, with light fabrication and electrical work as needed.

You will troubleshoot PLC controls, Vision Inspection Systems, and DC torque control systems, collaborating with Production IT to ensure smooth operations while adhering to safety standards and quality

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or 6+ years experience.
• Proficient in general building maintenance and repair.
• Electrical repair and machinery installation proficiency.
• HVAC and plumbing knowledge.
• Ability to read manuals and work orders.
• Strong troubleshooting and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair equipment and systems.
• Perform preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance.
• Light fabrication for production shop floor items.
• Provide timely work order scheduling and task prioritization.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, Vision systems and DC torque controls.
