Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Controls Engineer to support reliability, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automated production and bottling equipment.

You will diagnose problems, optimize control systems, and support preventive maintenance, working with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to reduce downtime and improve production performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
Hands-on troubleshooting of PLCs, drives, instrumentation, and control loops.
Experience with SCADA/DCS/HMI and electrical schematics and loop diagrams.
Familiarity with SAP PM or CMMS and safe electrical work practices.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and interpret AB PLC code within Rockwell environments.
Diagnose, repair, test, calibrate instrumentation and control equipment.
Support valve, sensor, and detector instrumentation across processes.
Optimize SCADA, DCS, HMI screens, and production interfaces.
Read electrical schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control narratives.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and document actions.
Train maintenance technicians and operators on controls and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations to improve reliability.
