Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Controls Engineer to support reliability, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automated production equipment. You will diagnose problems, improve control systems, and reduce downtime while collaborating with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Rockwell control systems, SCADA, VFDs, servo drives, and process controls in a

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
At least two years in industrial instrumentation, electrical maintenance, controls, or automation.
Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley control systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams.
Experience with SCADA, DCS, HMI, or industrial control systems.
Knowledge of Ethernet/IP, Profibus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, DH+ networks.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, documentation and teamwork.
Knowledge of safety practices and lockout/tagout.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and interpret Allen-Bradley PLC code within the Rockwell environment.
Diagnose, repair, test, calibrate, and adjust instrumentation and control equipment.
Support process control loops tuning and optimization.
Maintain SAP PM/CMMS records and spare parts inventory.
Train maintenance technicians and operators on controls and instrumentation.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to improve reliability.
