Contemporary Amperex Technology Kentucky (CATK) seeks a PLC Control Systems Engineer to oversee PLC programming, maintenance, and optimization across facility processes. You will troubleshoot issues, implement upgrades, and ensure safety compliance while collaborating with other engineering teams to integrate automation across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of PLC experience, with familiarity in Siemens/Schneider/Omron

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years PLC programming and control system development.
• Familiarity with major PLC brands (Siemens, Schneider, Omron) and programming languages.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to analyze complex issues and propose solutions.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; in-person attendance required.

Responsabilidades

• Program PLC control systems for facility processes to automate and optimize operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PLC hardware and software issues to maintain reliability.
• Conduct regular maintenance and implement upgrades to automation systems.
• Develop and implement control strategies to optimize performance and productivity.
• Establish policies and procedures to ensure safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate PLC systems with existing infrastructure.
• Develop SOPs for PLC operation and maintenance.
