Job summary

Maple Donuts, LLC in Erie, PA seeks a skilled Multi-Trade Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain highly automated packaging lines. You will work on PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and motors while reducing downtime and optimizing uptime.

The role requires at least 5 years in heavy manufacturing, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and OSHA safety compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance within heavy manufacturing or high-speed packaging.
Proficient with PLCs and online ladder logic across control systems.
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and electrical diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain PLC-controlled production lines.
Repair and rebuild industrial equipment including packaging machinery, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps and compressors.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, valves, cylinders, manifolds and accumulators.
Troubleshoot electrical circuits up to 480V 3-phase, including VFDs and servo motors.
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance; document actions in CMMS.
Read blueprints, electrical schematics, and P&IDs to assist installations and modifications.
