Job summary

Performance Health in Indianapolis is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our highly automated distribution center. You will lead daily operations, oversee a 1st shift team, and ensure our automation runs at peak performance.

The role requires 2–4 years of supervision in a high-volume DC, plus experience with warehouse automation and WMS, strong math and MS Office skills. Forklift certification is preferred; salary is competitive with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2-4 years of supervision/management experience in a high-volume Distribution Center.
Experience with Warehouse Automation.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Strong math aptitude and quantitative problem solving.
Microsoft Office Suite ability including Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to frame opportunities clearly and meet deadlines.
Willingness to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Provides training to current employees and new hires to ensure understanding of duties.
Directs, assigns responsibilities and motivates team to achieve department goals.
Supervises team members and collaborates with Operations Manager on personnel issues.
Participates in performance reviews and advises on promotions or disciplinary actions.
Communicates DC and corporate information during daily start‑up meetings.
Administers policies and procedures fairly and consistently.
Updates incoming supervisor on operations status before daily departure.
Determines staffing levels to keep all department activities current.
Alerts Managers to irregularities in inventory or processes.
Works with peers across departments for overall facility success.
Performs Daily Ops, Attendance, and Daily Summary reports.
Operates equipment as trained.
Manages shipping requirements including Bills of Lading and shipment manifests.
Performs other duties as assigned.
