HARTING Americas, part of HARTING Technology Group, seeks a Head of Automation & Digitalization to lead automation projects from concept to implementation. The role aligns with global engineering standards, drives operational excellence, and supports global expansion initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal candidates have a technical degree in mechatronics/robotics, experience with custom equipment, and strong leadership skills to develop talent and collaborate across markets and supply
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, robotics, or similar.
- Experience in custom equipment development, industrial automation, robotics, or integrated manufacturing systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in an international environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation development projects from concept through implementation.
- Align with global engineering standards and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with the U.S. market, including customer, production teams and supply chain.
- Test and implement digital solutions in a hands-on environment.
- Support plant and layout expansion in a dynamic, fast-moving setting.
- Train others and develop talent.
