Job summary

Click Bond, Inc. in Carson City, NV is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop manual and automated machines using CAD and modeling tools.

You will work with internal and external customers to define requirements, create 2D drawings and 3D models, integrate off-the-shelf hardware, and support fabrication and assembly. You will participate in design reviews, prepare manuals and maintenance documents, and train end users.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written forms.
• High skill level in CAD and modeling system software.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree.
• 4 years minimum experience in mechanical design or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops intermediate 2D drawings and 3D models of machines and systems.
• Integrates off the shelf hardware and software into machines and systems.
• Contacts vendors and suppliers to specify hardware and software in support of machine and system designs.
• Troubleshoots with suppliers and vendors on technical issues.
• Provides training on operation of the equipment.
• Assists in creating manuals and maintenance documents including preventive maintenance plans.
• Reviews and approves work instructions and operates manual mills and lathes.
