Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an Automation Planning Manager to lead deployment planning for automation programs across multiple networks. You will coordinate across Entitlements, Pre-Construction, Construction, Start-Up Execution, Design Engineering, WHS, Capacity Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure milestones are met.

The role requires strong project management, analytical skills, and the ability to resolve dependencies and risks across diverse teams, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage site-level project timelines for automation deployments and ensure alignment of design, construction, equipment delivery, and site readiness milestones.
• Serve as the single-threaded planning owner for assigned sites, coordinating across multiple teams.
• Track vendor/integrator dependencies, material delivery timelines, and FAT schedules to ensure on-time deployment.
• Solve complex problems that pose risk to project delivery and milestones through in-depth stakeholder input.
• Compile, manage, and report on weekly project metrics and site readiness status.
