Core Specialty Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking an Operations Analyst for the Delegated Authority & Underwriting Controls team. You will automate manual workflows, improve data quality, and support modernization initiatives across data pipelines and document processing.

The role collaborates with IT and business units to design, test, and implement data-driven controls, reports, and dashboards, while ensuring SOX compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years in Data/Operations Analyst or similar role with demonstrated automation output.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Exposure to continuous improvement or SOX‑compliant environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills to derive insights from complex datasets.
• Excellent communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify, document, and streamline recurring manual workflows to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Support onboarding tasks including data mapping, validation rule setup, and reference table maintenance.
• Build and maintain file delivery automation workflows for document routing and processing.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries with field definitions and mappings.
• Coordinate with IT to manage access provisioning tickets and permissions.
• Document operational procedures and data definitions for SOX control compliance and audit readiness.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and produce operational reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to translate business requirements into technical specs.
