Job summary

Prime Controls seeks a training specialist to develop and deliver technical training on industrial control systems. The role supports project delivery, evaluates new technologies, and helps implement design and programming standards across automation platforms.

You will collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to make training available and assist teams in troubleshooting and applying solutions on live projects.

Qualifications

• 5 years of industrial automation experience.
• Bachelor's or equivalent in mechatronics, electrical or related field.
• Excitement about new technologies and learning.
• Experience with Logix-based control systems (Rockwell preferred).
• Experience with SCADA platforms and willingness to learn others.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver written and computer-based training for automation specialists.
• Evaluate new technologies and support project delivery teams.
• Test new products and technologies and develop design/programming standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to enable training access.
• Assist project teams to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair issues as needed.
