Genie Matthews and Associates in the Atlanta area seeks a Controls Technician on the day shift to design cells, install and program automated equipment, and keep systems running. You’ll build PLC panels, program them, and troubleshoot to ensure continuous production.

Required are 6+ years of related experience, PLC programming, and familiarity with sensors, analog controls, and safety circuits. OT is available and benefits are offered.

Qualificações

• Minimum 6 years of related experience.
• PLC programming in a production environment.
• From-scratch machine process programming.
• Wiring a 9-lead motor and stress testing windings.
• Identify info from motor data plates for components.
• Sensor types: PNP/NPN, loop-powered, and dry contact.
• 4-20 mA and 0-10 V analog control signals.
• Ladder logic troubleshooting and panel building.
• Electrical experience and some robotics exposure.
• Safety circuit integration experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in cell design and integration of controls for automated equipment.
• Build PLC panels and program them to run and Commission.
• Configure, test, operate, maintain, service, and troubleshoot controls.
• Work with engineers and production to meet output goals.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine upgrades.
