Confident Search Consultants in the Atlanta area seeks a seasoned Controls Technician to join our day shift. You will design cells, integrate controls, and install automated equipment, building PLC panels and programming them to run.

You’ll configure, test, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot control systems across production lines. Requirements include 6+ years in the field, PLC programming proficiency, ladder logic, wiring of 9-lead motors, sensor familiarity (PNP/NPN, 4-20mA, 0-10V), and

Formación

• At least 6 years of related experience.
• PLC programming experience with PLCs and context clues in programs.
• Able to program a machine process from scratch.
• Able to identify motor data plate info for components.
• Familiar with sensors (PNP/NPN, loop-powered, dry contact).
• Familiar with 4-20mA and 0-10V signals.
• Ladder logic troubleshooting and panel building.
• Electrical experience and some robotics exposure.
• Safety circuit integration.
• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Install and troubleshoot pneumatics and hydraulics from prints or schematics.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems with computer-based tools.
• Install, program, or repair PLC and robot controllers.
• Build and wire control panels and integrate automated equipment.
• Train others to install, use, and service equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to achieve output goals.
• Perform preventative maintenance and upgrades as needed.
